Soil : Oceanic origin with sandstone and clay streaks

Vineyards : All estate-owned vineyards

Harvest : Manual, destemming by swinging and berries received in tanks by gravity

Grapes : Sangiovese Grosso BBS11, from certified organic and biodynamic farming

Fermentation : Indigenous yeasts, controlled temperature

Maceration : Approximately 3 weeks on the skins in concrete and stainless steel tanks

Aging : 1 year in large, young Slavonian oak barrels

With the same quality and vineyards as its Brunello sibling, this wine is crafted from a manual selection of the largest, west-facing bunches, ensuring immediate juiciness and balance. A year of aging in young barrels allows it to acquire great expressiveness and pleasantness.
